Ralph was also a teacher at the gym. After the family moved to Montclair, New Jersey, Ricci attended Edgemont Elementary School and Glenfield Middle School. At the age of 13 Ricci's parents separated. Ricci was later a student at Montclair High School in New Jersey and Morristown-Beard School in Morristown-Beard School.
